The reward of reciting the pilgrimage of Ashura

Narrations about reciting the Ashura pilgrimage have been issued by the infallibles. In the narration narrated by Al-Qalma Ibn Muhammad Hazrami from Imam Baqir (AS), the reward of performing the pilgrimage of Ashura after greeting Imam Hussein and two rak'ats of prayer is that one thousand thousand shadows of the believer disappear and one thousand degrees rise. Also, the one who reads this pilgrimage will be one of those who have been martyred in the footsteps of Imam Hussein and will share in their ranks, as well as in the reward of all the prophets, messengers and everyone who has visited Imam Hussein since the day of his martyrdom. As Alqama narrated from Imam Baqir (AS), the fifth Imam of the Shiites after narrating this pilgrimage said: “O Alqama! "If you could make a pilgrimage to Hussein every day of your life with this pilgrimage, do it, then for you is the reward of all this pilgrimage."
